Happy Wednesday! Since hitting my 30s, I've noticed a shift in what I care about, what I prioritize, and honestly, what I've outgrown. Some things just don't hold the same weight they used to, and I've stopped trying to force them to. Which brings me to something I recently shared and wanted to expand on a little: I'm officially shifting The Lazy Millennial to a part-time, seasonal business. (or side hustle if we're being real about it) It's both exciting and uncomfortable to say out loud. For a long time, going all in was the goal; building, growing, seeing how far I could take it. And I did. Over the past 8 years, I learned a lot, built a lot, and got to work with some really great people along the way. However, I'm thinking differently now. I'm still planning to continue my partnership work through the Operations Network, stay involved in my communities, and support clients through trainings and advisory work. That part isn't going anywhere. I still plan to close down for good within the next 2-3 years. Because of that shift, I'm also changing how I take on new work. Going forward, I'll only be working with people who have attended a workshop or training I've hosted within the past year or so. It keeps things aligned and makes sure we're starting from the same place. For those who prefer the DIY route, I do plan to revisit and simplify some of my past workbooks, but I'll be honest, it's not at the top of my list right now. This isn't a goodbye. It's just a different way of doing things where it feels a lot more like the life I'm actually building. I truly appreciate the support over these past 8 years, whether you've worked with me, shown up to something, or just been along for the ride. It means more than I can say. Excited to share more as this next chapter unfolds. ❤ Talk soon, P.S. If you want strictly business-related content, you can subscribe to the Monthly Operations Check-in I send to my current and past clients. I've taken the Lazy Systems Club offline, so this note will be the only business-forward content I'll publish outside of occasional things in this newsletter.
