burnout or disorganized?

Happy Sunday!

This is the part of the year when I get tired. And when I get tired, things start to fall through the cracks in business.

Missing follow-ups, being over calls, wanting to avoid looking in my planner... You know, tired.

Even as someone who builds out systems for a living, I get caught up in the cycle sometimes, too. It also doesn't help that I have ADHD (that's a whole other topic).

The thing about this, though, is that I'm not overworked. It's just a sign that I have poor structure in an area.

And you know when there's poor structure, there's a bottleneck in the process somewhere. And with bottlenecks, you want to clear that out sooner rather than later. I share how in a past episode of The process chat)

Once this gets fixed, I realize I don't hate my business, or I'm burned out. I just needed to clean something up. And sometimes when you clean up one thing, the rest of the processes fix themselves.

This is not to say that you're only disorganized because you may very well be burnt out as well. What I want to make clear is that disorganization can take on the form of burnout and other negative experiences because we lack clarity.

I challenge you to write out 3 things that are bringing you the most headache and see if you can

1) Keep it

2) Ditch it/Push to the side

3) Delegate it

4) Automate it.

You'll need to break it down step by step to identify the areas.
