Happy Sunday!
Last Sunday, I shared a post on LinkedIn about my journey with selling digital products.
If you missed it, you can check it out here.
The gist of it was simple:
I had a few people openly tell me that my earlier products... sucked. (Their words, not mine.)
At first, it stung. But it also pushed me to take a hard look at how I was sharing my knowledge—and how I could get better.
When we talk about growth in business, most of the spotlight goes to revenue milestones, team expansions, and the flashy things we can celebrate publicly. And don't get me wrong, those things matter.
But I also love the quieter side of growth.
The stories about the process:
- What someone did “wrong”
- How they built themselves back up
- How they moved differently after setbacks
For me, growth this past couple of years looked like embracing less:
- Cutting back on how much information I stuffed into products
- Simplifying my service offerings
- Reviewing every client project to see what needed refining or removing
And even now, every time I wrap up a project, I ask:
1) What feedback came up?
2) What questions kept getting asked?
3) What can I simplify or strengthen?
All this oversharing to say: Growth isn’t always louder. Sometimes it's quieter. It's cleaner. It's smarter.
So this week, I want you to sit with this and define what growth looks like for you right now.
Revenue:
- What’s actually selling?
- Where is the real demand showing up?
- Are you chasing volume or building value?
Peace:
- What systems, boundaries, or habits have you implemented to stay grounded?
- Where are you still feeling stretched too thin—and why?
Mindset:
- What beliefs are you holding onto that are pushing you forward?
- What stories are you ready to let go of?
Take some time to write these out or reflect on them. You might be surprised where you’re growing without even realizing it.
Here’s to getting better, not just bigger.
PS: I’m making space to work with a few more leaders this quarter. If you’re ready to clean up your systems and make your next growth season easier, you can check out my Systems Overhaul service on my website here.
