Our business systems are so huge, and they tend to overlap at times. This is why I like breaking mine up into Sub-systems and having goals in each to hit on based on where I am currently in business.
Right now, I'm working on increasing my visibility and sales and "replacing" myself where I can. Here are some of the ways I'm doing just that.
Pre-scheduling Appointments with my Network (marketing)
This looks like scheduling a time to follow up while I'm still on the call or immediately after with my network. Even though we may send emails or follow each other online, sometimes that still isn't enough, especially if the energy is still high.
This helps me stay top of mind with my referral partners, and we're able to send people to each other faster because we communicate regularly.
Content batching for LinkedIn (Marketing)
Sometimes, I just don't feel like posting. In April, I decided to finally batch up my content to go out for the month. This allows me the flexibility to still post on a whim while appearing consistent.
Weeks like last week, I'm thankful for that!
Client Onboarding/Order Fulfillment (sales)
I use Honeybook to automate Onboarding. I stopped using Intake forms in my company and just decided to keep things on the onboarding call.
This helped reduce the amount of friction to get the information needed for projects, and my clients love it because of the hands-off option I give them. Since doing this, I haven't had to worry about project extensions and other headaches.
I've turned projects into templates, so that keeps things flowing until I eventually hire someone to take over certain areas.
These are just some of the subsystems I use in business that play into my overall goals for the company (currently).
I'll end it here... What subsystems are you working on currently?
