your expertise = assets

Happy Hump Day!

I wanted to continue on Sunday's conversation because I truly believe we ALL have something to license out and it's one of the more "passive" streams. Well, depending on what it is.

You do have to have something unique to offer and in the world of AI, it may be harder to prove. However, it doesn't mean it's impossible.

Licensing starts with the systems and methods you already use every day. For example:

Do clients always ask you for the same thing?

Do you already have a signature way of working with people?

Could someone else follow your steps if they were written down?

If you said yes to at least one of these things, you already have the beginnings of a framework that *could* be licensed.

How would this look like in action? Here are some things I've personally seen:

  • A service workflow documented so contractors can run it without you. Typically seen with Clinet Onboarding.
  • A workshop outline turned into a repeatable program.
  • A method you use with clients packaged into a resource others can pay to use. Ex. My templates being used by other Operational professionals to make their work faster.

The point is, your knowledge is valuable. And when it’s documented, it can start to work beyond you.

If you want to brainstorm how to make this a reality, take advantage of my 1-1 consultations for $350. During this time, we can:

  • Map out a process that could become licensable in the future
  • Break down your signature method into steps others could follow
  • Or identify what to document now so you’re ready to scale later

The key thing is to start with what you already know and do.

You can grab a slot from now until mid-October here.

Have you thought about licensing to scale your business?
