You're in my thoughts

Happy Friday,

I know things feel heavy right now.

With everything happening in our country, it's normal to feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or even paralyzed. I've been thinking about you... about all of us trying to show up for our businesses and our communities during times like this.

Here's what I want you to remember: What you do matters.

The work you're building, the people you're serving, the impact you're creating, it all matters more than ever. This is exactly when we need to keep going.

The more successful you become, the more resources you have to create real change. The stronger your business, the more people you can employ, support, and lift up. The clearer your voice, the bigger platform you have to make a difference.

But, you can't pour from an empty cup.

Take breaks when you need them. Limit social media if it's draining you. Find spaces where you can speak freely and process what you're feeling. Protect your energy so you can keep doing the work that matters.

I'm not going to pretend I have all the answers, or that business as usual feels right when nothing feels usual. But I do know that giving up isn't the answer either.

Keep going. Keep building. Keep making a difference in whatever way feels authentic to you.

You've got this, and you're not alone.

If you need to talk through how to navigate your business during uncertain times, I'm here.

P.S. If you're curious about my stance on sharing political views as a business owner, my colleague Michelle DeNio wrote a thoughtful post that perfectly captures my thoughts on the topic. It might help if you're wrestling with similar questions.
